We are seeking a highly qualified Electrical Engineer (UPDA Grade A) to lead and support the electrical scope of our major construction projects in Doha. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring technical compliance, project execution, and engineering quality at the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design, planning, and execution of electrical systems for large-scale projects.
Ensure compliance with Qatar regulations, Kahramaa requirements, and UPDA guidelines.
Prepare and review electrical drawings, load calculations, and detailed specifications.
Supervise and coordinate electrical contractors, site engineers, and technicians.
Prepare material requests, drawings, and technical submittals.
Conduct testing, commissioning, and troubleshoot electrical issues.
Conduct technical inspections, QA/QC checks, and site audits.
Approve electrical materials, equipment, and installation procedures.
Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and provide effective engineering solutions.
Participate in project meetings, progress reporting, and client coordination.
Requirements:
UPDA Grade A Certification (Mandatory)
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
Proven experience in electrical design, installation, and project management
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
Must be currently in Qatar with a valid QID
